Services
We offer visiting or local divers everything you are likely to need to make your trip a memorable one.
We can arrange your trips, whether you want a day trip or a live aboard. We have a number of established operators who
welcome rebreather divers and are more than happy to take you out and show you the best dive sites on the Great Barrier Reef.
We have tanks, sorb O2 and mixed gas boosted to 200bar (3000 psi).
Early December Lance hopes to have completed his factory training and will be a qualified Megalodon CCR Instructor. We
already have a dedicated unit for training and will be offering training on either your own unit or ours. We will be offering
Trial Dives for you to get the feel of diving a Rebreather to see if it is what you want before buying your own unit.
We stock a number products from well known manufacturers. Keep an eye out on our specials page for the latest additions
to our line up.

Our History
Lance had been diving for over 30 years and has come up through the ranks and is a qualified Instructor and
a CCR Mixed Gas Diver. A lot has changed in the years since he started diving and he has kept up to date with all the latest
in Technical Diving so he can assist you with your needs.
Closed Circuit Divers was started in April 2008 as there was no way for a visiting CCR diver to dive their equipment on
the Great Barrier Reef. Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Legeslation requires there is a qualified "Rebreather
Supervisor" aboard the boat whenever CCR divers are present. Up until now this has been the biggest hurdle and prompted us
to train our own supervisors so we can satisfy this requirement. Finding boat operators who are prepared to take CCR divers
has been another hurdle and we now have a number of boats who are happy to take us out after many dives to show them the
professional way in which we conduct our diving.
